Moderators Wanted « Thread Started on Jul 16, 2007, 4:55pm »
Hi All,
We are looking for some people who have a genuine interest in aviculture and communicating with fellow birdkeepers around Australia.
We have no idea how this website will go, but the 2 messageboards Buy-Swap-Sell and Questions & Answers , is run independently of the BirdSale.com.au website. If we do grow in popularity the Administrator will send a message out for more moderators to assist.
Unfortunately it's going to be a labour of love as the only remuneration you'll ever hope to get is Satisfaction and making a whole host of friends around Australia. Plus you'll get a little writeup and your photo on the ABOUT US page.
Please PM Fred if you are interested and tell us a little about yourself and your qualifications. It would be ideal for someone who is stuck in the house and not able to go out to meet friends.
Your job will be to explain the ground rules for the discussion, and and keep the flow of the discussion going. Moderators can screen questions as they come in to ensure they comply with the rules and keep the messageboard tidy, you might even want to introduce the question to the audience. To improve the flow of the chat, Moderators can develop possible responses to questions and pass them along to the Speakers, who can then modify the responses if necessary. You can put as much effort into it as you like as you will be running the forum.
In short you will be the judge , jury and executioner. We may even place people in charge of specific topics depending on your area of expertise.
Welcome to the BirdSale.com.au Feel free to use the forum for all your buy, sell, wanted needs with us here. Join us today its Free
